Faiza Seedat

Faiza Seedat has served as a dedicated educator at New Horizon for the past eight years in the positions of Academic Specialist, fourth grade teacher, and second grade teacher. She recently moved into the leadership position of Lower School Director. In addition to ensuring that the Lower School is an inviting and enriching atmosphere for our students and families, she also strives with her staff daily to uphold a nurturing environment that supports the academic, physical, social and emotional needs of all out students. She recently completed a Masters’ degree in Educational Leadership with an Administrative Credential at UCLA. She also has a Masters’ degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a Reading Specialist Endorsement from Northern Arizona University, and a Bachelors’ degree in Education from Arizona State University. Prior to joining NHS in 2012, she worked as a Reading Interventionist with students who needed additional support to meet grade-level reading and language expectations. She also worked as an Early Childhood educator in a Montessori-focused program in South Africa.
