Barbara Williams
Barbara Williams (“Miss Barbara”) has been a dedicated teacher at New Horizon for the past 18 years. She has over 25 years of teaching experience. She earned her Master’s degree in Human Development at Pacific Oaks College, her Bachelor of Arts degree in Special Education from Pacific Oaks College, and her Associate of Art degree in Early Childhood from Pasadena City College. She has received specialized training as an Outdoor Education Project Specialist through The Outdoor Classroom Project at the Child Educational Center and completed the Basic Cored Education in Early Childhood Education from UCLA Extension. She also completed training in Special Education Technology through Pasadena City College and completed a program in Foster Care Education and Teaching Strategies for Children at Risk.
