Like all independent schools, New Horizon relies on support beyond tuition and fees to move our mission forward. Donations help sustain and enhance our programs, ensuring our students have access to an up-to-date, well-rounded educational experience that reflects both academic excellence and Islamic values.
Last year, our school community came together to donate $6,173 to Masjid Al-Taqwa, demonstrating the powerful impact of collective giving for those affected by the Altadena fire. This year, we are honored to partner with Humanitarian Day, an organization dedicated to compassion, dignity, and service to the most vulnerable.
Through this partnership, we will help serve the unhoused, as well as Muslim seniors and families in need, with humility and care. Humanitarian Day 2026 will provide essential gift items, eye, dental, and health screenings, along with expanded food distribution to address increasing needs in our community.
This service reminds us that anyone of us could easily be on the other side of the serving line, and that it is only by Allah’s mercy that we are able to help others.
