Melissa Morales

Ms. Melissa Morales is our Kindergarten Teacher starting 2025-2026 school year. Ms. Morales is excited to join our team and comes to us with more than 10 years of experience teaching young children including four years as a Kindergarten teacher. She has a Master of Arts in Elementary Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Child Development and Family Studies. Her previous supervisor described her as a teacher with strong emotional intelligence and a warm demeanor. She created a classroom environment that was safe, welcoming and structured, and her students adored her for her kindness. In her demo lesson this summer, she exhibited her teaching strategies and warm personality confirming her selection to teach our Kindergarten class.  She is a native Angeleno and has also worked in other learning settings, including summer camp and tutoring. When she is not in the classroom, she enjoys spending time with her family going hiking, traveling, and learning about different cultures and getting to know people. She has a passion for learning and hopes to transfer that same passion to her students and teach them to develop and expand their knowledge of the world.
